How the HARAX® Quick Connect System works –

When the Dome-Nut is tightened, the wires which are securely installed into the Splice-Ring Channels, are forced between the two blades of the Insulation Dsiplacement Terminal. The blades cut through the wire insulation and the electrical contact is made.

Keying –

To prevent missplugging, Splice-Ring and Terminal Carrier feature a tongued and grooved system. Splice-Ring Wire Channels and Insulation Displacement Terminals are numbered.

Installation

Fig. 1		 1.) Strip the Cable Jacket approx.15.0mm (.59 in.). Fig.12.) Install Dome-Nut and insert on to Cable.

3.) Push the wires through the Splice-Ring Wire Channels. Fig.2

4.) Cut away any excess wire flush to the Splice-Ring bottom.

5.) Press Insert into upper half of Splice-Ring.

6.) Install Splice-Ring/Insert Unit into the Terminal Carrier.

7.) Slide Dome-nut on to Terminal
Carrier and fasten. Fig.3
