ATEX Approvals

As of 1st July 2003 products placed onto the market or taken into service for the first time must comply with the provisions of the Directive 94/9/EC covering explosion protection. This Directive supersedes previous Directives and national regulations relating to hazardous area applications. Please observe that the new Directive is also to be applied to such products that were introduced onto the market in accordance with previous directives. In addition, it also applies to products that are intended for use in dust-laden environments. Traceability is required for all Ex products. Each user and re-seller must guarantee the traceability of the products.
